I was ALL excited to morph into a new, morning-loving me....and then proceeded to become and insomniac. How unfair is that?!?!
I have not been able to deter the trend, either. None too happy about it!
At least I was productive on Sunday. I organized my drawers and closets, put away all the laundry I did on Saturday, scrubbed the bathroom, planned my dinner, shopped for ingredients, cooked it AND cleaned ALL the dishes...went through my spending and bills, put work onto a site profile to help find a job, and started a cartoon of a woman in a ridiculous fur coat walking her similarly coated dog that I saw the other morning. Soo...yea, somethings done!
But yea, I got up at 7:40 after a night of tossing and turning and waking up on the hour. I know my weekend activities didn't help (parties Friday, just up late Saturday)...but still. Last Monday was such a tease! Any suggestions for getting to sleep easier??
In any case, things I need to-do tonight are: get a hair cut, pack for Tim's (for an overnight trip), finish cartoon, job schtuff, and some exercise. And of course get some sleep!
Oh, and how do you like the new color scheme? I liked my doodle so much, but it is kind of an odd tone to really hold up as a header. I may change it/add color at some point....but for now, how is this??

I hate to be the first one to suggest something and have it be "drugs" but perhaps you should try melatonin tablets or tea. I know I got the tablets from like a GNC or other Vitamin store and if I take two right before I go to bed for three nights it usually slaps the insomnia right out of me. The only downside is that, like actual sleep-aid pharmaceuticals, the herbal remedy is super strong too. You need to be able to get 7-8 hours of sleep in order not to have a hangover from them. But they get your body's natual melatonin levels back up so after two or three nights you should be maturally sleepy again.
I hope you get relief soon!
My youngest sister has had trouble sleeping for awhile, and she was taking those. They didn't help her, but would be worth it if this keeps up another week. I am def trying warm milk tonight!
..and that isn't saying it doesn't work, she prob didn't take it consistently!
